Female vocalists

I have great taste for female vocalists, they have always presented a magical and beautiful ambience. Here's a short list of bands with female vocalists I really appreciate. I have only included individual songs, no information beyond the performance shown in the videos.

10 good thrash bands from the 80's

I define the bands below as thrash, although some may disagree. In the 80s genres mixed into one another, and later became more pure forms of genres that we know of today, such as death metal, black, etc. That is probably why I like 80's so much, they gave a damn about what genre they played, they just played it raw and brutal.

Gospel of the Horns - A Call to Arms

I have listen to this band a lot lately, and I have to say it fucking kills. Fast riffs and raw vocals,  you just gotta love it.

Antisect - In Darkness, There Is No Choice

Got the CD in the mail today, and I've just listened through it once. It contains only two tracks, in other words its like an LP with A and B side, which is pretty cool. All the songs sort of melt into each other and you are forced to hear the whole album

Headbanger hits for flying fists and satanists

This one's for all you punks and metalheads out there.

Below you will find a playlist with some really head banging tracks. Since I don't have Mediafire pro you have to download the tracks one by one. Burn it on CD and print the picture below, and you will have a satanic cool disc.

Hellbastard - Ripper Crust

Demo. Recorded in the summer of 1986. Available only on cassette and limited edition vinyl (500 copies).

Regarded as the first album which described crust as a music genre, although Amebix played crust before Ripper Crust came out.

Man tenker sitt

Motörhead was the reason I started listening to rock n 'roll, while Amebix and Darkthrone got me to go deeper into punk and metal. This blog is in many ways a product of these three bands.
