Num Skull - Ritually Abused

It will hit you in the face fast and brutal. You will not know what hit you untill you see your teeth laying spread on the ground and your nose bleeding. Only then you'll realize that the only natural thing to do is to headbang, and that hard. Turn up the volum and make your ears bleed and your brain rattle. This is a little treasure of hidden violence, open it or run away now. Thank heaven there is no God!

Gallhammer - Gloomy Lights

A great band from Japan consisting of three girls. You clearly know the reference without listening to the band, but Gallhammer has more references than just Hellhammer. This is raw and primitive metal with hints of Beherit and Burzum and the driving force of early Celtic Frost and U.K crust. There are quite a few headbanging tracks on this one, and that's what's most important for me; the energy. I quite like the opening which reminds me of this horror movie "the Grudge" if I'm not mistaking. And the last track brings me straight to Japan with their wicked lolita girls going total suicidal and enjoying it.

the Dark Sound of Norway

Sogndalsbroen

Here is a few band that I feel capture the diverse and rich sound of Norway. It's agressiv, dark, brutal, raw, it's rock n' roll, or as some say, metal.

Integrity - Palm Sunday

Today it's palm sunday, and what better to introduce to you all; Integrity - Palm Sunday (live).

The Batallion - Stronghold of Men

If you like thrash metal done old school, you should definitly check this band out. I guess they don't have a lot of recognition yet. The members of the band have very close ties to the Abbath, and some of the members play together in the tribute band to Motörhead called Bömbers.

In swedish crust we trust

One thing I like about crust, besides the music, is that all the songs are so short. They intoxicate you in less than one minute, before they throw a new dose of amphetamine right in your vein! You can never land, a wonderful feeling!

The Swedish crust scene is definitely superior, long live Sweden. And to those who say that metal and punk do not mix, well ...!
